Event Timing LLP

Event Timing LLP please to announce that we are due to support Daktronics UK Ltd at the Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE) in Cyprus at the beginning of June 2009.
GSSE is a biennial multi-sport event that has been organized by the National Olympic Committees of eight European small states. The event first began in 1985 and this year’s participating countries include:

• Andorra
• Cyprus
• Iceland
• Liechtenstein
• Luxembourg
• Malta
• Monaco
• San Marino

Montenegro, although eligible will not be participating. The event organizers have announced that they are expecting a record 1,500 athletes to participate in the event.

The events include within the Games are:

• Athletics
• Basketball
• Beach Volley
• Cycling
• Gymnastics
• Judo
• Sailing
• Shooting
• Swimming
• Table Tennis
• Tennis
• Volleyball

Of which the Swimming competitions will be supported by Event Timing LLP using the latest Daktronics Aquatic Timing Equipment and Hy-Tek Meet Manager.

Tigersharks Amateur Swimming Club in Swindon receive a new led scoreboard from Daktronics. The Link Centre swimming pool is also used by the Wiltshire ASA to host their county championships.

The Event Timing LLP team are excited to be working with Daktronics UK Ltd, particularly due to the recent appointment by the British Swimming Association in appointing Daktronics UK Ltd as a commericial partner, but also due to Daktronics being a world leader in LED visual display screens. Daktronics not only designs, manufactures, sells and services dynamic visual communication systems for customers worldwide but also provides electronic timing equipment for a variety of sports.

As an ASC, Event Timing LLP will be involved in supporting Daktronics UK by providing End User training, operation of electronic timing equipment and also servicing and repairs on behalf of Daktronics UK Ltd.
